University admission requirements differ by institution, degree and intake. Use this checklist to prepare your application and confirm every requirement with the university’s official admissions office.
1. Shortlist programmes that fit your goals
Compare the programme, campus, tuition fees, recognition, entry requirements and career outcomes. Confirm that the institution and programme are recognized by the relevant authority where applicable.
2. Check eligibility and entry tests
Read the programme’s minimum marks, subject prerequisites, equivalence rules and entry-test requirements. Some programmes require interviews, portfolios or professional tests. Confirm test dates and accepted scores before submitting.
3. Prepare your documents
- CNIC or B-Form and recent photograph
- Matric and intermediate certificates or equivalent documents
- Transcripts and result cards
- Entry-test result, if required
- Domicile, equivalence certificate or other supporting documents where applicable
4. Track each deadline
Keep a calendar for application closing dates, test registration, fee payment, merit lists, interviews and fee submission. Save the application number and payment receipt. Deadlines for different programmes at the same university may not be the same.
5. Verify merit lists and fee instructions
Check merit lists and admission offers on the official portal. If selected, read the fee and document-submission instructions carefully. Do not pay through an unofficial link or agent.
Reminder: Admissions schedules change each intake. Confirm current dates, fees and eligibility with the university before making decisions.
